I ended up having orientation for my job yesterday, and I start training tomorrow. Yay!

I got a TON of homework done, but that was just getting caught up. Now I have to start on this weeks stuff. Sighh...... 

That's about it. I have a lot of random thoughts floating around today, lol. It's going to be interesting. 

As dearly as I love my dad, I was so happy when he left for work today. This morning, he popped in my room with a tape measure, to figure out where he wants to put a return duct. (Now I know where I get my inability to finish projects I start before I start new ones.) Now yes, my door had been cracked open, but that was to let the cat out, not visitors in. I was still all pj-y and groggy. So once he was in, "Oh! You're up!", I got to hear about his work, the folk band he's in, the church choir, more than I ever wanted to know about return ducts, the kind of bread he's thinking about getting at the store tomorrow, whether or not he should take the day off, and how nice it is outside and how he wants to finish the gutters. I love my dad, but he's so lonely. It's sad to say, but it gets tiring being the only outlet. My sisters don't let him do it. 

Oh well, he's at work now. Maybe he'll run into someone who doesn't have problems, so I won't have to hear about them tonight, lol.

Right now I'm going outside to enjoy this beautiful fall!! It's still fall! It's been a week, and it's still fall! And it's a gorgeous fall day, too. The perfect, just-cool-enough-to-wear-a-sweater type of day.
